 OUR

 STORY

For too long, homebrewers have been forced to settle for tinned extract kits which are diluted to give 40 pints of bland, unexciting beer.

We believe the best of both worlds is possible. Brewing small batch craft beer on the hob using only  premium, freshly milled malt  and packed with  the best possible hops  combines the ease of extract kits with the  endless flavour potential  from using fresh ingredients. No large metal mash tuns or pumps needed; just a large cooking pot.

We at Bootleg Brew Club have seen it all, navigating our brewing journey from extract kits on the stove to advanced homebrew systems and even commercial systems. Along the way we have learnt  what works ,  what is essential , and how to  get the best out of the ingredients .

Many choose to go further and brew from fresh grain for the unquestionable quality of flavour, but are still faced with an endless variety of complex, bulky and expensive equipment.

Extensive recipe development and focus tastings allowed us to create a foundation of go-to beers that anyone can brew for themselves and others.

 GETTING   STARTED

You will need some basic equipment! Nearly all existing homebrew 'starter kits' on the market leave you mid-way through a brew realising you still need a thermometer, sanitiser or swing-top bottles (unless you’re a Grolsch drinker, it’s just no good).

Our   starter kit   provides absolutely everything necessary to make incredible beer, just choose whether you need the stainless steel pot or if you have your own. All you need for each pack is water and old bottles which you can refill with your own brew and cap.
